Youth RYA Sailing - Stage 1

Learning to sail is rewarding and exciting. We operate the RYA Sailing Scheme throughout the year, each course is 2 days and promote a safe and fun learning environment. The beginner courses take you through the basics of dinghy sailing, getting you to a standard where you are able to enjoy the freedom of sailing.

This course will teach you launching and recovery, sailing across the wind, turning around, steering and basic parts of the boat, by the end of the course you will be able to sail across the wind, steer and understand the basic principles of sailing.

All safety equipment, including wetsuits and buoyancy aids are provided.

Age Restrictions: 8-15 yr olds

Water Pay & Play Activities

At Nene Outdoors, we run a ‘Pay and Play’ scheme, providing visitors of all ages and abilities with the opportunity to enjoy the watersports we have on offer. Book for half hour sessions on line or for one hour, book two consecutive time slots, hire our equipment and use our facilities.
